David had Jonathan. Naomi had Ruth. Elijah had Elisha. Paul had Priscilla and Aquila. We have you.

Because we have you as a friend, we are absolutely delighted that you are here. Here we’re family. Here we cry together, we pray together, and we smile together. Here we seek to be molded into the image and form of Jesus.

Here we don’t think we’re better than anyone else; in fact, we’re aware of how imperfect we are. Here you won’t find people who have it all together (honestly, there are even a couple oddballs among us—but please don’t tell them I told you).

Here you will find Republicans and Democrats. Here you will find native Virginians and native Texans. Here you will find retired folks and others just beginning careers. Here you will find great-grandparents and parents with children in high school.

Yet no matter where we are in life, we come here as family. We come here to submit to the cross of Jesus. Here His blood makes us one. Thank you for being our guests today! If you have questions or concerns, please let us know.
