Are the official photographers of recruit training, command division commanders. Left or right, face rest. Ladies and gentlemen, good morning. I am Lieutenant Daniel Alcorn. Recruit training commands, drill division officer. I would like to welcome you to today’s passing review today. You will see 12 divisions comprised of 952 sailors participating in their graduation ceremony and soon to join the most powerful navy in the world. Please draw your attention to the unit position at center debt. There is a review commander and staff. The review commander is responsible for conducting the graduation ceremony. Today’s review commander is seaman recruit Brandon from Staten island New York. Let’s give him a hand folks performing today is the State Flags unit on their eighth week of training. The staff unit on their ninth week of training and the triple threat unit on their 10th and final week of training. These means are comprised entirely of recruits. During the night of arrival, recruits are replaced into divisions of 88 personnel and assigned division commanders. Recruit division commanders formed the backbone of recruit training and our key individuals in the life of every recruit. Division commanders must serve as counselors, Disciplinarians, administrators and military leaders. Above all, they must show themselves outstanding examples of military bearing, appearance, attitude and behave. Each division also has a recruit. Chief petty officer. This senior recruit supervisors, divisional staff positions and leads the division in the absence of their division commanders. Now, ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce the graduating divisions, the division commanders and recruit chief petty officers. As I introduce each division, they will raise the competitive flags they have earned throughout their training. As I introduce each recruit, Chief petty officer, the flag representing their home state will also be raised. Please hold your applause until all introductions have been completed. Award winning reporting sir. Very well. Good morning. I’m Captain Kirk brooks, commanding Officer recruit Training command. I’m pleased to welcome families and friends to our graduation ceremony and look forward to sharing this momentous occasion with you with us. Today is our reviewing officer, Captain Charles von Commander, naval chaplaincy school and our guest of honor, the Navy retired john Hagen, I cannot thank all of our visitors enough for your continued support and I’m sure your sailors are grateful for your encouragement throughout their training. I’d also like to welcome all the veterans in our audience today and thank them for their service to our country with all of our veterans. Please stand and let’s give them a round of applause. Division 944 graduates. Today they are the triple threat unit providing the recruit choir, drill team and band. Please join me in giving them and the 11 other graduating divisions here today in the round of applause for their outstanding performances. This is where our Navy heritage meets the future and where these young men and women enter the profession of arms. The staff of recruit training command is dedicated to providing the United States Navy would basically training physically fit and smartly disciplined sailors such as those standing here this morning. These sailors have successfully completed 10 weeks of the man of recruit training. They have earned the right to wear the uniform, recognized throughout the world as a symbol of freedom. They and others like them serve as the bedrock of our Navy forces. They will join other sales around the world to give our Navy’s combat edge enable us to help keep this nation secure. This training group is ready to graduate and serve in the world’s most powerful Navy Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you 952 of the newest and sharpest sailors in the United States Navy Ladies and gentlemen, you may be seated recruit trading commands, competitive system among individual recruits and divisions promotes teamwork, attention to detail and pride and accomplishment. Divisions performing above standards throughout their training are awarded recognition flags in five missionaries, academic achievement, military drill compartment readiness applications and physical fitness. These flags are carried as a visible symbol of the division success. Each flag indicates that your sailors individually and as teams met performance standards in one or more mission areas. A division that excels in every phase of training qualifies for the battle efficiency honor division recognition and has awarded the battle E on our flag for this Exemplary achievement. Division 372 has earned this honor Today we congratulate them on the job exceptionally Russ. Captain Marceau joe will now present this week’s individual awards and he will be joined on the drill deck by our commanding officer Captain brooks and our guest of honor Mick pond Hayden. Mhm Yeah. For achieving the highest overall academic score during recruit training. Airman apprentice Nicholas Keller. Division 372 from Centerville Utah has earned the Academic Excellence Award which is sponsored by the link defiance chapter of Illinois Society of the Sons of American Revolution Airman apprentice Keller received a letter of commendation from our commanding officer. Well done sailor. Yeah, thank you Captain 45 for having displayed extraordinary qualities, best expressing the American spirit of honor, initiative and loyalty. Seaman Casey Marriott, Division 944 from Denton Texas is awarded the Navy League Award, which is sponsored by the Navy of League of the United States. Thank you Juan Seaman Megan Alexander Division 367 from Lapeer Michigan is a recipient of the Military Order of the World Wars Award of Merit. Reporting the Military Officers Association Leadership Award is presented to seaman apprentice age Hoffman and Division 367 from holland New York for demonstrating exceptional tenacity and professionalism. Simon, Cassandra Herpes. Division 944 from Rockford Illinois is the recipient of the Navy Club of the United States of America Military Excellence Award for best exemplifying the qualities of enthusiasm, devotion to duty, military bearing and teamwork. This award places her at the pinnacle of today’s newest sailors. She’s awarded flag letter combination Semen Herpes, the staff of recruit training command, salute you as the finest of this group of graduates. Well done sailor. Thank you. Captain thing divisions. It is appropriate to recognize such outstanding individual accomplishments by these sailors. With a round of three cheers. Captain Charles, Barcelona Commander, Naval chaplaincy School among his operational sciences. Service includes Deputy group chaplain for Marine wing support group 47. Principal assistant chaplain from USs carl Vinson and Deputy Division chaplain for first Marine Division. Among his shore assignments. He has served a tour on the staff of the Royal Navy chaplain of the Fleet service as a regimental chaplain at Marine Corps recruit depot san Diego. A second assignment to Chief of chaplain’s office as director for manpower policy and executive assistant to the Chief of Navy chaplains, Department of the Navy’s Director and religious ministries. He became the Commander of Naval chaplaincy school in June 2022. Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in a more recruit training command. Welcome to Catherine. Good morning. It’s an honor, a privilege and a blessing to be here today. I think I speak for everyone who’s visiting this morning for those of us gathered remotely when I thank Captain brooks and his amazing man for inviting us to this motivating and impressive ceremony. The men and women graduating today have undertaken a difficult and demanding course of public service. They have brought to this historic place, the lessons learned from you, their families and the insights drawn from their own experiences. The recruit division commanders, the instructors, the staff here have helped them forge these strengths into the tough warriors that you see here over the last several months, they harden their bodies, sharpen their minds and fortify their souls. They have moved noticeably and admirably in the direction of their best possible selves and that is the kind of focused pursuit of excellence that keeps me excited about serving in the world’s finest Navy. Those of us who are serving in the veterans among us. Welcome to a life of service to others before self. There are amazing adventures before opportunities to grow and to leave to discover the depths of your own abilities and the virtues of your shipments. This life that you’ve embarked upon will require still more of your body, mind and soul. But the people to your left and right are worth it. So are the American people who are counting on you to protect and defend. And we citizens. We civilians. We members of the general public are here to congratulate you on your accomplishments. Thus far, you’ve done what only a small number of people are even able to start, let alone finish. But we are only here to congratulate you on what you have. We’re here to thank and support you for what you will defend the Constitution of the United States. You’ve stepped forward and offered to put yourselves between the innocent and the aggressor, your families, your friends, your neighbors, are here to stand behind here to thank you for your service. And I challenge those families and friends and neighbors to draw inspiration from your patriotism and to pay renewed attention to their own civic duties. My fellow Americans do what these men and women have done. Follow your conscience and do your duty, as you understand, do your part. Whatever it is to equip the sailors properly to advocate for their safety and the respectful use of the sacrifices that they’re willing to make a sailor and civilian citizen and nature. We all share responsibility for our liberty. So let every bell we hear today, send a thrill of pride through us and let our celebration of these new sailors remind us of our own responsibilities for life, for liberty, for the pursuit of our own happiness.
