And today myself and the crew, are out here conducting Operation Kurukuru, which is a Forum Fisheries Agency operation. Suppressed illegal, unreported, unregulated fisheries, in Palau and EEZ, and across Oceania. (dramatic music)

[Man] All right, EEZ 2.

The way it works is, Cutter Washington is here, exercising a U.S/Palau bilateral ship rider agreement, wherein Coast Guard Cutter Washington, has translated to Palau, and we have picked up a Palauan law enforcement officer, and he is functioning as a ship rider. He provides the authority and Cutter Washington and the crew provide the means. (dramatic music)

Hi, my name is Duke Joseph. I’m a Seaman onboard PSS Kedam, the one right behind me, the white one. Right now we are on the Operation Kurukuru. So we are basically, protecting our Palau EEZ waters. (hopeful music)
