[Connor] Here at the Pacific Missile Range Facility we’re doing inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on PMRF’s massive network of underwater communications cables and hydrophones.

[Nicholas] I like how it pushes you to be better than yourself the last day prior so you wake up in the morning and you know, you decide I want to go to work, but you’re gonna go to work with a goal in mind to beat that guy that beat you yesterday, to clock in the most bottom time that you can. It’s just all about bettering yourself every single day.

[Connor] The Seventh Dive Detachment is the only Army Dive Detachment in the Pacific AOR, so we’re a theater level asset and we’re so small and we’re trained in such a broad spectrum of operations. We can get a team on the ground and accomplishing the mission extremely quickly.
