What we’ve done here today is we’ve received the new aircraft in the Army’s fleet, especially to Fort Bragg. It’s incredibly important for us to modernize our fleet of aircraft here at the 82nd because we have such an important mission, we are America’s guard of honor. Specifically, with all the new technologies that come out, we don’t wanna be stuck in the past, so this aircraft integrates a whole new range of options that I have to integrate whether it be Air Force and Navy. It does have an increased capability for speed so I can go faster. It’s got an increased capability for range. I can stay overhead for more time, and then I can carry more ammunition, which in the end that just helps me provide more support to the ground force commander.
