Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in a war trading command level for Alabama. Good morning, family friends matters. It is an honor to be in your presence today among the best that our nation has to offer. And your daughters and your son, I am so proud of each and every one of them to accomplish in their first mo and became a, becoming a professional in the Table forces of the United States of America. If you notice it, one of our top grass is in Austria. Our beckoning of democracy is ho is found and heard across the world. And that young sailor will naturalize as an American next Thursday. That is what America stands for. I get the honor and privilege after this ceremony to go to a naturalization ceremony and we will naturalize 81 sailors to become Americans. So I’m gonna talk about the families first. So those sailors, my fellowship mates that are out on deck right now. I was you 37 years ago. One of you will replace me. One of you, the area will become the next master chiefs up next. But one of the future master chief petty officer in the navy, one of you will come back. Many of you will come back as a recruit division commander. But it all started because you had the support and the love from your family to the family. Thank you for being here. Thank you for being in their lives. Thank you. Thank you for allowing these sailors to join the biggest family, the best family the United States made. Thank you. Show up as recruits if you want to. When I showed up, I had a wallet. I have one. My wife was sitting behind me today in 29 years. She would, uh we weren’t dating in high school. We were in the same grade. I knew her. She didn’t know me, but I didn’t realize that what was holding me back. So I join the N I got out my wallet. I became a naval professional as an airman fast forward and went after my five I reunion in my now wife said, then you cut off your money. And so I did and I told her what we were doing and how the rest is history between us. But it started as a family and whatever town you come from. Then it happens when you come here with some clothes and you have these red roasts and he looked like the I a friend and these recruit division commanders and the entire staff of recruit training and a part of your life that you do not want to be part of your life because of what they are doing to you at the time. But what they’re doing to you at a time is so incremental, so subtle and that transition curves and you transform into becoming one of them. Discipline in the age are courageous. It is because of the regroup, vision manage and sad skipper Kroger that you have transformed. Let us take a moment to thank RCC and the Red brokers for publishing the mission. Today. We ain’t out to the sailor. We’re all there three weeks ago. You aren’t sur name Paul. You went from recruit the navy because you’re not part of this big family. We take care of each other and we serve with two words. Always hold in our night a commitment, but we care for each other. You are in each other’s lives. We know what’s going on in each other’s lives and we’re able to tell when something’s on in another person’s mind or not. We’re not coming to work with 100% and we’re able to engage because we care. The other part that I’m gonna ask you to do is a fellow sailor is to add the of the expert. When we expect your need. You’re gonna start out as an apprentice and you’re gonna grow into a journey and then you’re gonna become an expert, but it takes work. It takes a lot of work. You’ve already proven yourself here in 10 weeks of boot camp for challenging to carry out that message and that commitment. I have to you, you ask me with comps and to give you an example of what provenance is. So let’s say that I was a pilot and I said to you, hey, let’s go find I’ve got an aircraft picking up for all of us to go fine. But before we go fine, I’m gonna tell you, I’m not a really good pilot. I’ve crashed a lot of aircraft. I’ve injured people. I failed a lot of s I don’t really study that much. Are you ready to go fly with me?

The answer should be no. Now let’s put the script. Let’s say I wanna take you flying and I’m a pilot and I’ve been pilot of the year for the last 10 years. I’ve got an impeccable record in the air on combat and I’d come back from every mission better than when I left. Would you go find with me?

Then the answer is absolutely yes. So that’s the difference in how I see. So to my fellow sailors, I challenge you to be the most common sailor ever challenge yourself when you have it and you have your taste so care and to the United States Navy, our shipmates. Thank you. That what the and we will receive the saloon of the graduating physics and you will be joined in the world that where our adding officer Captain Krog, please remain seated into his graduates as a place on delivery almost. Please join me in one more round of British couple. Oh it out and read out of normal. Ladies and gentlemen, today is the only day for access to the Navy Exchange and photo pickup. You can pick up your sailor at the Northtown parking garage today and tomorrow sailors going on liberty without people are to exit gate eight to the train station naturalization. Savor. Please report to the child at the conclusion of today’s ceremony with your families for the naturalization ceremony. Thanks again to each and every one of you for joining us on this most memorable of 80 days and without further delay. Look.
