I’m pleased to welcome families and friends to our graduation ceremony and look forward to sharing this momentous occasion with you with us. Today is our review officer, the honorable john Sean coffee, general counsel, Department of the Navy. We also like to welcome our guest of honor Captain Justin. Now many also Southeast regional maintenance. I cannot let all of our business enough for your continued support. Sure your savings are grateful for your encouragement throughout their training but also like to welcome all the veterans in our audience for their service to our country. Today they are the staff unit providing logical honors, staff, honor guard, recruit recruit review commander and support for the ceremony. They have earned the right to wear the uniform, recognized throughout the world as a symbol of freedom They and others like them to serve as the bedrock of our naval forces. They will join other sales around the world to give our Navy its combat edge and enable us to help keep this nation secured. This training group is ready to graduate to serve in the world’s most powerful Navy. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you 270 of the newest sharper sailors in the United States Navy. Thank you ladies and gentlemen, please be seated recruit training commands, competitive system among individual recruits and divisions promotes teamwork, attention to detail and pride and accomplishment. Divisions performing above standards throughout their training are awarded recognition flags in the five mission areas, Academic achievement, military drill compartment, radius, applications and physical fitness. These flags are carried as a visible symbol of the division success. Each flag indicates that your sailors individually and as teams met performance standards in one or more mission areas. A division that excels in every phase of training qualifies for the battle efficiency honor, division recognition and is awarded the badly on our flag for this. Exemplary achievement. Division 230 has earned this honor today and we congratulate them on a job exceptionally well done. Yeah, All right, right. Semen pagan has exhibited great pride in naval service and has consistently demonstrated his potential as an effective leader. He has maintained a high standard of personal appearance and displayed excellent military bearing and command voice. Congratulations on your outstanding achievement. Well done sailor. Thank you. Division 230 from humble Texas has earned the academic excellence Award, which is sponsored by the lake defines chapter of the Illinois Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. Seaman Riches receives a letter of commendation from the commanding officer. Division 2 to 9 from Houston Texas is awarded the Navy League Award, which is sponsored by the Navy League of the United States Airmen Strong is presented with a commemorative plaque and a letter of commendation from the commanding officer. Construction started reporting construction in Philip Division 930 from Valdosta Georgia is the winner of the United Service Organization award for best exemplifying the spirit and intent of the word shipmate construction in Herndon is given a commemorative plaque from the United Service organization. Well done sailor. Yeah. Hey morning, okay morning reporting. Seaman Nicholas Division 930 from cooper city Florida is the recipient of the Military Order of the World Wars Award of Merit. This award is presented for meritorious performance during the crew training. Seamon is presented with a commemorative plaque from the Military Order of the World Wars. Well done Sailor Morning Simon Moser reporting The Military Officers Association Leadership Award is presented as Seamen Garret Moser Division 930 from Spring Hill Tennessee for demonstrating exceptional tenacity and professionalism. Stephen Moser is awarded a letter of commendation from our commanding officer. Well done sailor. Yeah, okay, according thank good morning Captain Report. Semen Samantha Campbell Harris Division 2 to 7 from Bronx New York is the recipient of the Navy Club of the United States of America Military Excellence Award for best exemplifying the qualities of enthusiasm, devotion to duty, military bearing and teamwork. This award places her at the pinnacle of today’s new newest sailors. She was awarded a flag letter of commendation Stephen Campbell Harris, the staff of recruit training command salute you as the finest of this group of graduates. Well done sailor. Think good morning. Thank you. Divisions. It is appropriate to recognize such outstanding individual accomplishments by these sailors With a round of three cheers. The adjutant will lead all graduating divisions and three cheers for this morning’s award winners this morning. I’m introducing our again officer. The honorable john general counsel, Department of the Navy. A native of New York city graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy and served as a naval flight officer. The month was very serious and his career he served as a special military Assistance Vice President George H. W. Bush Leaving active duty. Mr. Coffee continues to serve in the Navy Reserve for 18 years before retiring in 2004 To return to New York where he practiced law for over 35 years, including several years as an assistant US Attorney, As the Department of the Navy Chief Legal Officer and Head of the Office of General Counsel. He leaves more than 1100 attorneys and professional support staff 140 offices worldwide. Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in a warmer crew training man. Thank you for joining us. We can actually the outstanding men and women of training room. They have just completed the biggest challenge of their lives here in great Lakes or streams and they have earned the right to call the United States sales information before you have seen have been challenged in many ways over the past two weeks. Well, most of their friends were back at home in May June early July the beach ball cruising around town. These young Americans traveled a different path. Tax, rewards, damage control, firefighting. Small arms training. We’re going to wear a uniform. Don’t they Look fabulous today. Yeah. Working the march as a unit to donna gas and to render Mhm And successfully navigating the infamous ordeal known as battle stations 21 In short over the past 10 weeks, they have embraced every challenge, an obstacle that was thrown their way and they fought tenaciously succeed. But Training Group 31, I look across your ranks and I see pride and professionalism. I see the confidence of young men and women who have overcome adversity and achieve successes that did not. I see many women worthy of serving as sailors and the greatest navy that ever sailed the globe’s oceans to each of argue with sailors. I want to say thank you. Thank you for agreeing to raise your hand to say, I will volunteer. I will, may be coming up on its way to defend our country. Thank you so much for making that commitment and for pushing yourselves and each other other. Others over the last become the sailors that you are today. I can tell you that the fleet equally awaits you. You have done your part to prepare for the challenge that awaits you to the instructors and staff over a tree center. Great lakes. I want to say thank you as well for taking under your wing Law civilians who arrived 10 weeks ago and fashioning them into war fighting. American sailors. You were chosen to serve here for this critical assignment because you are the very best role model leaders of our navy, you have worked hard to prepare the men and women of training for fruit. You want to enter the fleet Ready on Day 1 to support the critical missions of our navy around. Well done finally to the families who raised these fine young men and women. Thank you on behalf of the United States baby. Your love and support, help these outstanding men and women who are now sailors for us. You impute them with Paul for service to grit to persevere and the love of country that you could just feel deeply in this room Today. We will go on, continue to support as they serve in the fleet. Thank you in advance for the love and support. You will continue to give them years to come. I want to close by giving some advice to our newest sailors from an old salt. We joined the Navy as a teenager almost a half a century ago. You are the future of the navy. I think some of the things I learned over the last 48 Years of Association with the Navy whites stand you well begin your naval career. Take care of your ship. Things strive every day to embody the navy. Core principles of honor, Courage and commitment. Take justifiable pride. Being part of something much bigger than yourself of being a member of the service dedicated to preserving our freedom and our way of life. And finally, and I speak from experience, enjoy the ride. There will be highs and there will be lows. There will be some days when it’s just not as much fun as you would hope it would be. But I can guarantee this. It will always be something interesting. Something to write home about it. Or I guess to update something to email home about email. You’ll get to see your phones again. I think you’re as excited for that is legal and because I don’t want the only thing between seeing your Thrones and seeing your family off clothes. Yeah, it’s an immense phase of your Navy adventure. I promise you that just complete your initials where you become a lifer. You will always look back with pride on the fact that you wore. You know, United States Navy Bravo’s Who Sailors Training Group 31. You are ready to join the fleet. I look forward to serving alongside in the years. God bless you. And the United States of America.
