You’ll see 12 divisions comprised of 774 sailors participated in that graduation ceremony and soon join the most powerful Navy in the world. Please draw your attention to the unit positioned at center day. There is a view Commander and staff. The review commander is responsible for conducting the graduation ceremony. Today’s review Commander is Simon luis Rodriguez from Orange city florida. Let’s give him a hand folks Performing today is a triple threat unit on their six week of training, the state flag unit on their seven people training and the staff unit on the 8th and final week of training. These units are comprised entirely of recruits During the night arrival recruits are places, divisions of 18 personnel and assigned Division Commanders, recruit division commanders form the backbone of the crew training and our key individuals in the life of every recruit division commanders must serve as counselors, disciplinarians, administrators and military leaders. Above all, they must show themselves as outstanding examples of military bearing, appearance, attitude and behavior. Each division also has a crew chief petty officer. This senior supervising the divisional staff positions and leaves the division in the absence of their division commanders. Now, ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce the graduated divisions, their division commanders and recruit chief petty officers. As they introduce each division, they will raise the competitive flags that they’ve earned throughout the training. And look forward to sharing this momentous occasion with everyone while you’re restricted on occupancy. It is important that you are here to celebrate your sailors significant milestone, your support during this unprecedented time has helped us to complete the mission of transforming civilians into sailors while operating in a safe environment To help ensure fleet readiness. I cannot thank you enough for your continued support and I assure you, I am sure your sailors are grateful for your encouragement throughout their training. I would also like to welcome all the veterans in the audience for their service to our country. Would our veterans please stand? It’s going to run a fall. Yeah. This is where our Navy heritage meets the future and where these young men and women enter the profession of arms. Division nine. No one graduates. Today they are staff unit providing a live of honor staff, honor guard, recruit review commander, adjective and support for the ceremony. The staff for recruit training command are dedicated to providing the United States Navy would basically trained physically fit and smartly disciplined sailors, such as those standing before you this morning. These sailors have successfully completed eight weeks of demanding recruit training. They have recently demonstrated their knowledge and their courage during battle stations. They have earned the right to wear the uniform recognized throughout the world as a symbol of freedom. They and others like them serve as a bedrock of our naval forces. They will join other sailors around the world to give our Navy it’s combated and enable us to help keep this nation secure this training group is ready to graduate and serving the world’s most powerful Navy. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you 774 of the newest and sharpest sailors in the United States Navy. Can ladies and gentlemen please be seated, recruit training commands, competitive system among individual recruits and divisions promotes teamwork, attention to detail and pride and accomplishment. Divisions performing above standards throughout their training are awarded recognition flags in five mission areas, Academic achievement, military drill compartment readiness, applications and physical fitness. These flags are carried as a visible symbol of the division success. Each flag indicates that your sailors individually and his teams met performance standards in one or more mission areas. A division that excels in every phase of training qualifies for the battle efficiency, honor division recognition and is awarded the battle the honor flag for this. Exemplary achievement. Division 356 has earned this honor today and we congratulate you on a job exceptionally well. Fireman Clayton Wilson Division 901 from Greencastle Indiana has earned the Academic Excellence award which is sponsored by the lake defiance chapter of the Illinois Society of the Sons of the American revolution. Fireman Wilson receives a letter accommodation from the commanding officer. Well done sailor. Mhm. What according for having displayed extraordinary qualities, best expressing the american spirit of honor, initiative and loyalty. Airman Jacob Lozano Division 352 from Lemoore California is awarded the Navy League Award, which is sponsored by the Navy League of the United States Airmen Lozano is presented with a commemorative plaque and a letter of combination from the commanding officer. Morning steve according Semen Zachary Gregory Division 353 from corvallis Oregon is the winner of the United Service Organization award for best exemplifying the spirit and intent of the word shipmate. Great 40 Semen Jonathan Cisneros Division 348 from Vinita Oklahoma is the recipient of the Military Order of the World Wars Award of merit. This award is presented for meritorious performance during recruit training. Semen Cisneros is presented with a commitment plaque from the Military Order of the World Wars. Well done sailor. Yeah. The Military Officers Association Leadership Award is presented to Semen Matthew jovanovic Division 901 from west alexander pennsylvania for demonstrating exceptional tenacity and professionalism. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in international relationships from George Washington University where she was commissioned in 1995. She also holds a Master’s degree in international studies from Old Dominion University. Among her ceased duties. None of us who have served or currently served could have done so without your love encouragement and support. You’ve played a very important role shaping your sailor into a person who chose to dedicate their life to serving their country. During the past eight weeks, you entrusted us with their safety and tirelessly supported them from afar. They could not have made it through to graduation without you To the families here. It’s been 15 months since we’ve been able to host you in person and I’m so thrilled to have you back to share this celebration Recruit training command or RTC has worked tirelessly over the past few months to make today possible despite the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic on any given day here at RTC. The recruit division commanders, instructors and staff take on the unique and honorable challenge of transforming recruits into the finest american sailors maintaining the Navy’s highest standards of elite performance. However, more than 15 months ago, your important mission became even more critical to our nation’s defense. When you were entrusted with maintaining a safe training bubble amid the COVID-19 spread. You rose to the mission and performed phenomenally through many long days and nights you put service and the safety of others above self. Put simply, today’s ceremony would not have been possible without you please join me in a special round of applause for all the RDX instructors and staff here at recruit training command.
