Marine Corps Police Academy Graduation Ceremony



The Marine Corps Police Academy is proud to graduate 11 new Civilian Law Enforcement Officers from Basic Police Officer Course 04-21. These students have endured 13 weeks of Law Enforcement training and will be stationed throughout Marine Corps bases within the US. The graduation ceremony consists of introductions of staff, a speaker presentation from the Acting Executive Director, a presentation of graduation certificates and Law Enforcement credentials, and recognition for individual awards in academics, physical fitness, weapons qualifications and Leadership.

Lead instructor, Robert Salih will now give the invocation let us free gracious almighty Father, whose command is overall and whose love never fails. We ask you to watch over and guard these graduates and their families as they embarked upon this new and challenging phase of their lives and service to the nation into the court. Grant them the courage to face their own fears head on and to conquer them. Bless them with the courage to do what is right and good everywhere and at all times give them strength, Lord strength of body to protect themselves and others when danger threatens strength of spirit. To be gentle, understanding and compassion in the presence of human suffering and heart rate, strength of mind. To seek mastery of the arts and sciences, of the police profession and strength of character. Yeah, we are here to honor the graduates of Marine Corps Police Academy For Tech 21. We acknowledge those who help make their success possible and present awards for outstanding performance. We hope that this will be a memorable and pleasurable event for everyone here and those watching from home. It is my privilege to introduce the acting executive director of the Marine Corps Police Academy and the guest speaker for today’s ceremony. Major Wayne Williams. Today’s graduates have been challenged for the last 14 weeks, put forth their best efforts in the field of endeavor. Unlike any than most of them have ever experienced before, successful completion of the academy training has required a total commitment by our recruits and their families. They have completed over 528 hours of academic and practical training. The following statistics provide a small glimpse of their overall achievements As a class, their overall academic average was 94.8, They obtained an average score of 341 on the handgun qualification test out of a possible score of 400. Additionally, the final physical fitness test scores average 50 push ups in two minutes, 48 crunches in one minute 51 seconds. In the 300 m run and run time of 13 minutes for the 1.5 mile run is the academy’s goal to develop in our students, the technical skills, discipline and work ethic that will prepare them for a long and reporting career as a Marine Corps police officer. A very important factor in developing these attributes is leadership and role modeling provided by the academy staff. The staff members are former or retired members of the military and law enforcement community with extensive backgrounds in law enforced. We are truly dedicated to the law enforcement profession and the pursuit of training. It is my distinct pleasure to introduce to you the training staff for the Marine Corps Police Academy. The lead instructor is robert sally the instructor, staff jerry and Christiana Mall christian Father West Soza, kevin Dory, David Giles, Nathan boy Nathan knuckles, chad mccauley and Travis crying. Our academy administrator is Dakota McCartney and our arms room and legislation is Samantha Grant. Ladies and gentlemen, I present Major Wayne Williams. Morning provost Marshal’s please cheese, Deputies, pro Sergeants, Families and friends. Welcome to basic police officer course graduation 4-21 Major wing wings, the acting Director for the Marine Corps Police Academy. Before we proceed with the ceremony, I’d like to make a move to express my gratitude for the support the academy receives in order to fulfill its critical missions and Marine Corps. 10 General George Smith, Deputy Commandant Plans, Policies, Operations Headquarters, Marine Corps. Yes, yes. Mr Randy R. Smith. Assistant Deputy commandant Security Headquarters, Marine Corps Colonel Bernard has branches, law enforcement investigations in crisis branch, Security Division Headquarters, Marine Corps. Mr Mason Frank’s Wrinkle Law Enforcement Program Manager Headquarters, where your core the minimum support center of excellence and many support entities of word for Underwood, Marine Detachment and Military Police destruction Company. These individuals and entities have gone above and beyond in many areas support the bottle mission of the academy to produce basically trained police officers to serve aboard our bases and stations. It does not go unnoticed in order to go without gratitude, Thank you for supporting these police officers as they embark on their new careers, maintaining law and order border bases and stations To the students of 1421. Congratulations and brought those who you completed one of the most comprehensive comprehensive entry level training platforms for police officers within the Department of Defense. This is not an easy feat. You demonstrate a high, low professional skill for of course the undoubted prepare you for the challenges ahead. You’re entering a very dynamic operational environment for law enforcement threats you will face. They are charged to protect our service against within the homeland or across the spectrum. Completion of the academy is an honor that each has worked hard to attain. We will now present certificates to those who have distinguished themselves in several categories of our curriculum. Our instructors will assist in presenting these certificates. Academic success has been a goal for each and every graduate. However, there is one individual who wish to recognize for excellence in their academy studies, instructor christian Butler will assist and present the academic achievement award to officer Chad Phillips with an average of 97.25%. Mhm. Physical fitness is essential for law enforcement officers and we strongly emphasize it at the Marine Corps Police Academy instructor Nathaniel Hoy will assist and present the academy physical fitness award to officer Isaiah coats Who performed 65 push ups in two minutes, 60 crunches in one minute 10 minutes and two seconds, 1.5 mile ride And a 39 seconds 300 m sprint firearms training plays a major role in law enforcement education, instructor chad mccauley will assist and present the high shooter award to Officer Matthew. Will going officer will White attained a 382 out of a possible 400 on the nine millimeter Marine Corps combat pistol course. Our final award is the class leadership award. This award is selected by the academy recruits and instructors and is given to the recruit who best exemplifies leadership, inspiration, commitment and most importantly, an unselfish desire to help others, instructor, Christiana ball will assist and present the leadership award to officer James lee poor. Mhm mhm It is difficult to convey just how hard these graduates have worked to complete the academy. Our administrator Dakota McCarthy with the assistance of our logistician Samantha Graham have put together a slide show that will provide you with a glimpse of their academy experience.
