Remain standing for the honors to the nation. I invite you to pray with me, our precious Suddenly father. We pause before you on this special day to dedicate a gate which will stand for generations in remembrance of Sergeant Vanessa again who was tragically taken from us a year ago. Hard sake with sorrow and despair. Our soldier was taken from us by violence and even a year later we struggle to understand how this happened and to find meaning and value in the pain. Lord, We have no answers, but we know that you whose son was murdered is not blind to human evil and the darkness of evil does not conceal your power in your presence. Grant us strength and courage to live and grow through this pain with unwavering hope and faith. Help us to see your goodness and made this gate stand as a reminder for the thousands who pass each day that we have been given a sacred trust. America’s sons and daughters may we lead and care for our soldiers? Well it is in your holy name, we pray. Amen. Mhm. Mhm. Yeah. Mhm mm mm. Mhm mm mm hmm. Mhm. Mhm mm hmm. Mhm. Yeah. Mhm. Yeah. So in coordination with the family who agreed to allow us to do this, we’re going to dedicate a gate that has her name on it, has her picture and you can come learn just a little bit about Vanessa, but mostly it’s so in 234 years we haven’t forgotten what this is all about, what this moment is about in our history. So again, thanks to the gang family for being here. It wouldn’t be a moment in history without you. The permanent gate makes it clear right. As I just said, we’re not going to forget Vanessa.
