Doc Piercy Award

U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Michael Bryson, a hospital corpsman with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, receives the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (NCM) and the Chief Hospital Corpsman George William ‘Doc’ Piercy Award on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, September 22, 2020. Bryson received the award and NCM for his continued outstanding contribution to the unit which increased combat medical readiness during COVID-19.

Petty Officer First Class, Michael D. Bryson, United States Navy. The 1,200 Marines that oversaw preparations for worldwide deployment. 4,150 pre-deployment health assessments, 1,000 periodic health assessments, and 500 dental examinations. He’s had selection of the Chief Hospital Corpsman George William ‘Doc’ Piercy Award recipient. For thousands of sailors serving with the Fleet Marine Force. Keeping with the highest traditions of the Marine Corps, and The United States Naval Service assigned John H Raj for the second Colonel United States Supreme Court Commanding Officer. It’s one thing, its another thing to be able to do your job consistently well, every single day. And that’s what this award is awarding. The guy who comes to work, plays his position, tries to get better every day, and has an impact across the force. Congratulations, outstanding man, thank you very much. You Lincoln, fantastic.
