I’m Colonel Chandler Atwood go by Fulcrum. I’m the Commander of Space I-S-R Delta also known as Delta 7. The mission of the Space I-S-R Delta is new and burgeoning for the Space Force. We are a Force presenting to the combatant commands as well as the Space Force from a service retain perspective Space I-S-R capabilities across the board. That is a global 24/7 mission that we are now a Force presenting collectively for the combatant commands of Space Force. (gentle music) An additional change for Space I-S-R professionals moving forward is the desire to speed up to the speed of relevance for our I-S-R delivery. In the past, we have moved at the speed of foundational intelligence and in some of that cases it’s taken us months based on data, transport and processing. The technology is now at our fingertips to provide near real-time I-S-R awareness for the SPACE domain. We will push the edge push the envelope within Space I-S-R Delta to make that a reality so that we’re moving not just at the speed of relevance, but at the speed of war. (gentle music) What excites me the most moving forward is the amount of excited Airmen and the level of passion that’s coming with those Airmen that are transitioning right now. The 13S and One Charlie Six community are going through that transition and I’ll tell you that the 14N and 1Ns your intel professionals are very excited about switching over to the Space Force and going through that transition. That’s probably what’s the most excitement that I’ve seen. We’ve hit all of our quotas across, across each one of those disciplines. We’re extremely excited about this being a 1947 type moment. This is not a divorce. This is a deliberate transition into the Space Force and our Airmen are very excited about the new command opportunity that we have by consolidating all of our capabilities and presenting that to the Space Force. (gentle music) So this is a really new opportunity, great opportunity for a new command to put together what usually is in Fusion Centers. We now collectively under one Space I-S-R Delta Command have that ability to do collection, targeting, analysis requirements processing, end to end Space I-S-R capabilities for the warfighter for the joint warfighter moving forward. (gentle music) This is a really significant change for the Space I-S-R Delta. This is a new command for us. We are now separating from the Air Force I-S-R community, and we’re consolidating Space I-S-R and force presenting capabilities collectively within the Space Force. These will now be force presented to the combatant commands and within the Space Force itself. What this brings to us is from an horizontal integration perspective. We are now combining all of the I-S-R detachments that are embedded across the other mission deltas, and we are a Force presenting that I-S-R collective capability for each one of the mission deltas. We also have an enduring space acquisition I-S-R capability for validation and verification, and we’re also standing up a new near real-time I-S-R operations capability specifically for the SPACE domain. (gentle music) To the Space I-S-R professionals within Space I-S-R Delta 7, I’d like to say that this is a unique opportunity not to just be a part of history, we are currently, you are currently making history. This is a 1947 type event that we should all be extremely excited about moving forward. You are plank holders within the Space Force. Be very excited and proud to be a part of this historic event. Semper Supra (gentle music)
