Winter Exercising

My name is Guy Leahy. I am the Health Promotion Coordinator here at Kirtland Air Force Base. I think that it’s important for you to understand that winter should not be an excuse for not working out. Hydration’s important all year round. When you walk outside and it’s below freezing, you can see your breath, that’s water vapor you’re breathing out. Dressing for weather is important. If you take appropriate precautions, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to exercise outdoors.
