My favorite thing about air traffic control, is this is doing something that not a lot of people get to do in the real world. I go home and tell my family that I get to talk to aircraft and what not, it’s interesting. What’s challenging for me is, so I have no prior experience, so when I’m working radar, it was a little tough for me in the beginning, learning how to do everything. but, after that, I mean, it’s just like anything, you start off new, you’re going to be a little bad at it, but as you keep on progressing you get up.

Arrival controller, our primary duties is providing safe and expeditious control to aircraft. They get practice approaches, and everything they need. We’re working in tandem with the guy’s upstairs, Visar Viscoms. It’s a visual communication system. We’re basically communicating where the aircraft is with the towers, so they can sequence everybody together. To get everybody in for their approaches.
