Today we’re here at the Cutlass Express Opening Day Ceremony which is the kickoff of an exercise between us and the Central Command. Essentially, what we’re doing here is marrying up to maritime exercises between both of the commands to work with African and other international partners to secure the global commons. Where the exercise will operate between the Red Sea, the northern portion of the Indian Ocean, a wrap around into the Persian Gulf.

Approximately 20% of the world’s oil flows through this region and about 99% of the internet traffic is going through your undersea cable, so we are here to support 12 nation partners that are working with Cutlass Express that were interested in working this exercise to really develop interoperability between our partner nations.
