YOKOSUKA, Japan (October 8, 2019) Firefighters and volunteers from Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka held a fire safety event at the Yoksuka base fire station.

Kids love fire protection. They love coming out. They actually get to see the fire trucks, get in the fire trucks. Not every hero wears a cape. Plan and practice your fire escape. We want to get the word out to the public to practice a fire escape route and education in their own home. We actually host a fire prevention week to start off our fire prevention month. Campaign, showcasing our capabilities, bring out the public, show them a good time. Its just a good experience overall for the children.
