The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) holds a ceremony for National POW/MIA Recognition Day at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii, Sept. 20, 2019. The event is held every year on the third Friday of September in honor of those who were POWs and those who are MIA.
