Rivers of Living Water (John 7:37-39)

Why was the last day of the feast “the great day?”

“Jesus stood up and cried out, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.’” What is the thirst of which Jesus speaks? How do we go to Jesus? How do we drink?

How does living water flow out of the heart of the one who believes in Jesus?

In what way(s) do those who believe in Jesus receive the Spirit? When does the Christian receive the Spirit? Is it possible that the Spirit dwelt in Jesus’ hearers differently than he dwells in us today? Does the Spirit dwell in the believer today?

Why could the Spirit not be given until Jesus was glorified?
