What was the Feast of Dedication? Why did this feast take place in the winter?

Why were the Jews in suspense about whether or not Jesus was the Christ? Had Jesus not made it plain that he was the Christ?

What caused the Jews’ unbelief?

“The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me.” In what way(s) did Jesus do his works in his Father’s name? How did those works bear witness about Jesus?

“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.” What is the eternal life Jesus offers?

Can Satan not snatch Jesus’ sheep from his hand? If not, does this mean that one who is saved can never be eternally lost? Is it possible for the Christian to leave Jesus’ hand?
