God So Loved the World (John 3:16-21)

How was giving his only Son an expression of God’s love for the world?

How is Jesus the Father’s “only Son?”

In what way(s) does believing in the Son lead to eternal life?

“God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” In his ministry, Jesus repeatedly condemned sin. Was that not a way of condemning the world?

How is the world saved through Jesus?

Why is the one who does not believe in the Son condemned already?

Why did Jesus say people love the darkness rather than the light?

How does the light expose one’s works?

How are the works one does in the light “carried out in God?”
