My name is Shepard Vauhgn. I’m staff sergeant, and I’m currently in the 1/215th RTI up at Papago in Phoenix, Arizona, and I’m a 31 Bravo Military Police Reclass instructor. I believe there are approximately seven to eight other military police reclass courses offered throughout the United States. There are a few ran by the reserves as a National Guard. I would say with this course you get more of the real-world experience, because coming through a reclass course of the Guard, you have guys who work now boarder patrol, civilian law enforcement, they could be correction officers, and you can pull all this wealth of knowledge from multiple sources.
My name is Sargent Eric Holmes, and I am currently an 88, might becoming a 31 Bravo, and I am with the 1057th military police company out of Chadron, Nebraska. The instructors are pretty great across the board. A lot of them have a lot of civilian law enforcement knowledge. It helps readiness in our state, because it’s transitioning people from the MOS’s we used to have in that state to the new MOS’s.
