The Charter Ceremony is a simple and traditional event, rich with symbolism and heritage. Ladies and gentlemen, the 10th AAMDC Commanding General Brigadier General Gregory Jay Brady. (applause)

Well good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. And their special guests I’d like to especially thank Command Sergeant Major Dodson and Chief Warrant Officer Kyle Cleese, who really is our senior air defense organization. By you guys being here today it really means a lot to us. And I’d also like to thank Pastor Gary and Karen Kreft. We talk a lot about (mumbles) in the Army. About our physical and mental rights, but also spiritual. And I know it means a lot for you guys being here today for this event, so thank you very everything you did. Although the Seebecks have been here as part of our unit for a couple months now, we finally get to formally welcome them and deliver Chief Warrant Officer 5 Seebeck his charter, we shall present in a little bit, as the Command Chief Warrant Officer. And Chief Warrant Officer 5 Seebeck, let me tell you, the Army got this right because we are going to go back in time. You talk about the expertise, the experience, of this Chief Warrant Officer brings to this command because his career didn’t start as a warrant officer. It didn’t start as a non-commissioned officer. It started when he enlisted in our great Army National Guard. I know we have members here today from the 164th.

Hooah.

All right. I can’t hear you guys.

Hooah!

There we go. (laughter) But not long after this, he transitioned to the active component as mechanized infantryman, but don’t worry he soon regained his senses, and returned to the fold to the first-to-fire ranks as a patriot crew member. And believe me, he earned his stripes and rose through the ranks, not only as a non-commissioned officer but serving as platoon sergeant. We know how critical that position is for formations. And then he commissioned as a 140-Kilo in October of 2002, but keeping with his past track record, Chief Warrant Officer 5 Seebeck has rendered superb service. In positions with steadily increasing responsibility, in both technical and tactical realms at the battery, battalion and brigade levels. Congratulations, honored, truly honored to serve with you. I look forward to seeing the tremendous impact that I know you’ll have on our formation. You are great defenders. First to Fire! Army Strong. (applause)
