A representative from the Center for Public Safety Excellence came to Sasebo to lead training for our fire and emergency services.
So our fire service accreditation requires agencies to take a look at absolutely everything that they do, including operationally and on the back end, the paper work. We started off by the development of a installation specific community risk assessment. Looking at our risks and hazards on the installation, and then deploying resources according to the risk. In addition to that, we developed a exercise centered around goals and objectives finding ways to make the agency better or stronger. You know, of course, we believe the installation fire department is certainly strong, but what can they do better in the delivery of the services?
