NORFOLK (June 18, 2019) The Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) arrives pierside at Naval Station Norfolk. Kearsarge is the flagship for the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group. The Kearsarge ARG was deployed in support of maritime security operations, crisis response and theater security cooperation, while providing a forward naval presence.
