Lord Botetourt High School Marching Band presented their 2019 program, “War Dance,” at the state competition at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. The 2019 program titled “War Dance,” was an interpretation of the Haka, a ceremonial dance of the Maori people. The Haka is often performed before sporting events in New Zealand, e.g., the All Blacks, New Zealand’s rugby team.
