January 11, 2016
Brothers and sisters,
I do hope that you have had a wonderful holiday season surrounded by friends and loved ones. My family and I were privileged to spend several days with Tammy’s family and my own. There is, they say, no place like home for the holidays, and those of us who celebrate the holidays with our family are truly blessed.
With the beginning of a new year, I ask that you join me in praying for God’s richest blessings on WBI. The newest extension school in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine begins classes on January 16, if the Lord wills. WBI will soon have a series of Bible class curriculum appropriate for early teens to adults. Each 13-lesson series, written by a member of the WBI staff, will expound on God’s truth in an easy-to-read and practical manner. We pray that this effort will richly bless the Lord’s people. For my own part, I am writing series of lessons tentatively titled The Badge of Love, a look at what Scripture says about whom and how we should love.
As the Director of Technology for World Bible Institute, I want to see much accomplished in this new year. I anticipate enlarging our social media presence by launching into different platforms. As we increase our visibility across a spectrum of media, I earnestly pray that we will take the expertise of the WBI staff and make that knowledge readily available in down-to-earth, practical ways. We, after all, long to see the borders of the kingdom increase, and we constantly seek new ways of doing so.
Your prayers. We ask that you join us in prayer as we seek to take Jesus’ gospel to all corners of the earth.
Students. If you know of those who wish to earn a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies, please send them our way. You can find more information about our degree programs by visiting our website.
- Financial support. My family and I need to raise another $500.00 in monthly support. Your kind contribution will allow me to fulfill the ministry set before me. (Please make checks out to World Bible Institute, send them to the address below, and place “Justin Imel Fund” on the memo line). You may also contribute through GoFundMe:
May God bless all of you in this near year. God bless,
