Dear brethren,

Thank you so much for your gracious support of my work at World Bible Institute. Your generosity permits me to be involved in WBI’s work of training evangelists to take Jesus’ glorious Gospel into all the world. Together, we are making an eternal difference.

At the end of July, the WBI team gathered in McDonough, Georgia, for our first annual staff retreat. I was greatly encouraged to hear what God is doing through out efforts in Micronesia, the Philippines, Africa, and here at home. I left McDonough more excited than ever to be a part of the WBI family.

As I mentioned in my last letter, I had been diligently working to complete preparing a course on Paul’s Epistles to Timothy and Titus for our master’s program. I am happy to report that course has been finished. My completion of the class means that WBI now has our first master’s degree! We are excited by the opportunities this degree program provides.

While preparing the Timothy and Titus class, I decided to apply the material practically to the modern church. As an outgrowth of that study, I published Thinking about Timothy and Titus, an inductive Bible study which allows Bible classes or individuals to study Timothy and Titus at their own pace. In fact, my family is using Thinking about Timothy and Titus in our home Bible studies. The book is available in paperback and Kindle editions from Amazon.

Unfortunately, since my last report, I spent a few days in the hospital with chest pain. The diagnosis was coronary vasospasms (Prinzmetal’s angina). With an increased dose of a nitrate, I’m steadily improving. I saw my cardiologist on Tuesday, and, while my recovery is sometimes slow, he is pleased with my progress, but I’m still playing “catch up” with my work with WBI.

Great things are happening at World Bible Institute, and your support continues to make a difference in the kingdom. My calendar is filling up fast, but I do have a few dates open for speaking appointments. I would absolutely love to come and share with the church what God is doing at WBI!

God bless,

Justin Imel
