On July 31 (my birthday, by the way), the church in McDonough, Georgia, hosted the first annual WBI Sunday to honor the work of World Bible Institute. That weekend, the WBI staff attended our first retreat, and that was the first time all of us were able to be together at the same time. Here are some pictures I took of the weekend.
When we arrived at the Atlanta airport, the church provided a van to transport us to McDonough. Well, unfortunately, the church van overheated, spewed antifreeze everywhere, and came just short of the church building. Fortunately, though, it was the church van which broke down and not the airplane!
On Saturday, staff members spoke about their respective roles.
On Saturday evening, we gathered at the home of Don and Janet Wilson for a cookout to enjoy fellowship with one another. Oh, the stories that were told!
On Sunday morning, the male members of the staff introduced themselves to the McDonough church, the overseeing congregation for WBI.
